Fished from about 10 to 230 today on the middle rogue....
Had to try my glo bugs and jigss.......
Couple good jerks on the glo bugs and two takedowns on the jig....
Atleast i know they work now... ;D ;D ;D ;D :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
Im happy by the results but other then that...
i heard of 6 or 7 other fish hooked.... mostly salmon.... a 45 pnder came out of the same hole i was fishing... they were rolling like crazy....

Oh no I didnt go there today, but I did get two half pounders up to 17in and a bazilion trout  down by the sports park. Maybe I will try Matson tomorrow morning before I head back home.

I didnt keep any of the fish I caught. I heard that people are starting to catch some more steelhead. What have you heard or seen Greg? I am looking to make a trip to GP in two to three weeks to try for some more steelhead.

lol, well let us know how you do this weekend. I'm trying to convince my cousin to go out and keep trying for steelhead so I know when I should make a trip back up. I am down here in Chico, so I have pretty good fishing on the feather for steelhead! I got a 24in chrome one yesterday and I will be trying again tomorrow.

The upper river (hatchery to GP and below) is in great shape, fishing wise. Only question is 'where are, if any place,' are the fish. Counts over Gold Rae suggest (at this point) this may (possibly) be one of, if not, the worst year since they've kept records.
Not a good picture so far Boys and Girls.
