Being over here for the last few years has turned me into a bit of a bimmer head. I especially dig the E34 (5 series from 89-95) so I picked up the hunk of notc-sheetmetal. This is my second 5 series and 4th BMW overall since being over here (the wife currently rocks a 316 grocery getter). Sooo, what ya think... what are the chances of all my windows being intact if I use it as a turnaround... say on the Satsop?
Yeah I know...

Every once in a while? Uhhhmm that would be everyday. Not all places on the bahn are unlimited speed..but there is no such thing as a traffic cop here, at least I havent seen one..ever. They do have the cameras and Ive been flashed about 10x's so far. Out of those ten Ive gotten 6 tickets in the mail and not one of them was over 20 euros (about 30 bucks).
I will be in serious trouble when I eventually come home, as I have been acustomed to cruising at 200km (about 125mph) and yes you will still get your doors blown off by someone in a Porshe just like you were standing still. 60mph and Im not even close to shifting out of third... thats why I love the BMW's.. they just beg to be revved.
Under 3500rpm, the 5er is just transportation.. above it, it's cheap therapy
Maybe I should change my name to Ricky Bobby.
