Jim try some 4x4 inch pieces of 3/4 inch plywood painted white with brown edges. Works great for Canada geese born and raised in Seattle.

Also try circles of the same size plywood with a 1 inch hole in the center. Coat with pink or white paint on one side and toss some bakers multicolored sprinkles on top.
