Fall Sale on Weston Vacuum Sealers!
      #306011 - 10/19/07 05:55 PM

Just for Steelheader.net users... I'm little behind but it's time for our fall sale on our Weston Vacuum Sealers. No need to double seal each bag with these sealers. The heating element for the seal strip is almost 1/4" wide so there is no chance of the seal itself leaking. These will work with any of the name brand bags designed for strip sealers but the Weston bags are a lot thicker and worth trying if you are tired of finding punctured bags in the freezer.
Right now I am offering free shipping on both of the Weston sealers we sell and steelheader.net members can use coupon code "steelseal" for an additional $60 dollars off. Sorry, I can't combine the usual steelheader.net discount with this one. This coupon expires on November 15th.

Here are the the two sealers this coupon is good for -
Weston Vacuum Sealer Pro-2300 430 Stainless Steel With Cobalt Lid 65-0201

This one is in stock and ready to ship.

Weston Vacuum Sealer Pro-2100 Powder-Coated Kitchen White With Charcoal Lid 65-0101

This isn't supposed to be in stock until 11/2 but you can preorder now.

Check back here next week for a coupon code for the Chamber sealers we are going to be offering soon!

I bought a Foodsaver model 1000 something and it's been going strong for 4 years now...maybe you do more packing than I do though. I only paid around 125 for it....I've paid way more in bags than the sealer over the years....I'm not ready to spring $400 on one yet though.

This is the first time in a long time I've seen a sealer that lets YOU control the vaccum pressure, an absolute must, I think. I just may have to step up for one of these. The only sealer I've ever liked was a 20+ year old FoodSaver my buddy has that let's you use the vaccum manually. I've lost so much meat in the past from air pockets caused by the "One touch operation". Seems that they all have an adjustable "sealing/heat" button, not vaccum though. Very nice stuff offered here!

me too. Hey John, if you've got a Fred Meyer store in your area, check out the "Rival" brand bagging materials. Not quite as heavy a "mil" rating but they've worked fine for me thus far. They sell for 1/2 of what Foodsaver does and you get a couple extra feet on each roll.

My food saver works just fine BUT having control of the vaccum is really important if you vaccum any soft items such as berries or maybe cured eggs.
