I think I'm on the right track for how I want the bolt handle to look....It's only been quick finished till I decide if this is the one. If so then I'll spend several more hrs filing sanding and buffing till it's right.
Now all I have left is to re-work a magazine into either a detachable clip or something radical looking.

It's full length and 5" or so longer than K31 Swiss....and damn near as accurate  and it's been a lot of fun on my days off....when I knew what I wanted to do to it, that is

take a look at a Accuracy International Arctic Warfare rifle. with a lot of work and fitting, get another Nagant mag well so you don't ruin the one you have.
you can adapt a torkorov detachable mag to the nagant to give it that tactical look. The torkorov mags are 20rd, so you may want to cut it down to 10 or less to give it a sleek look rather than a big box sticking out of the bottom.
