Went out by myself on Friday, my buddy was supposed to go but he found someting else to do. Started 7:45, about sunrise, until 2:00. Fished the SW corner. About a dozen boats all congregated at the SW corner, long incoming tide. I got nada, couple shakers, fished on the bottom in 90-120 foot of wtr, the usual.. flashers/squid/coyotes. Saw couple keepers taken, fish checker said 6 BM and 1 silver for 12 boats. I was disappointed in the lack of bait. No bait balls. In my experience, no bait usually means not many fish. Its early maybe it will pick up. When we had that short chinook summer season there was a lot of bait around but not now. Next time I try it I may go up in 8-1, racetrack, elger bay.
