4 jumbo sized Leccinum boletes....bout 7 pounds worth, handful of yellow chantrelles, a couple hedgehogs and couple pounds of black chantrelles.

The bolete's key out to being Manzanita boletes ( Leccinum manzanitae). This spot has always produced one or two large specimens...this year it produced 4 shrooms that are close to 7 pounds worth. Removed the gills from the largest specimen tonite....we'll dry those for mushroom flavor powder....and sauteed it up in olive oil, butter, garlic and ground black pepper. served it over organic brown basmati rice along with broiled chicken thighs with greek seasoning and steamed collards from the garden.
Looks like we'll be eating mass shrooms all week.
