Flyfishing forum is back new
      #30914 - 04/23/01 01:43 PM

I am a switch hitter when it comes to fishing using many styles and techniques. One of them is fly fishing I am not a purist but enjoy doing the bug thing on occasions. Had this forum lurking in the background so I thought I should bring it back since fly stuff is so specialized.

Great! One of my goals (since I've caught a few steelies now) is to catch one on my flyrod. I hammered some Chum with it on the Satsop last Nov, so I think that lil' ole 7 wt will do just fine...I just have to do my part and float a bug in the right place

Hey Greg, I have never caught a summer run on my fly rod but I have caught winter runs.
My best luck was with a flesh fly and egg patteren.

Well, I tried to add a durned picture to my post, but can't seem to get it to work just yet. I'll keep trying, though.

P.S. I think I figured it out
