Model 97 new
      #309663 - 11/19/07 05:47 PM

What is an old model 97 in good shape worth these days. It was sent to the factory and re-blued and refinished by my buddy when I was in Viet Nam. So I guess it is not in original shape, but looks great and still shoots well. With the 32" full choke it used to be a great chukar gun on the breaks of the Columbia in the Kittitas valley in the 60's.

Saw a nice looking 1897 at the Gun Library at Cabelas for $850. Probably somewhere between there and $200. Year, specifics, etc, add or detract from the value. Just got one, but it was an inheritance.
