Had a pretty good week hunting this past weekend and week. I got my buck Sunday evening. He is a four point with a extra 3/4" long point on the left side. He has a 18.5" outside spread. It was a very wet weekend. Tuesday I took a friend with an 11a extra doe tag up and we found him a doe. For us it was no big deal but it was a very cool hunt that I will remember for a long time. We had his 7 year old with us and it was the first time he was with his dad when he got a animal. The little guy was very excited. Here is a few snap shots. LIL

Great job! I got mine Sat. as they were finally showing rut like behavior, (at least where I hunt). It was one cold and noisy s.o.b. out there. That made it impossible to walk and in need of more clothes to sit.

Mine was actually with another buck when I saw it. They split up soon after I saw them and the buck I shot came down and was sniffing a doe I had been watching for 30 minutes or so. He then continued along without her and was moving to check his scrapes and doe trails. I was up around Deary and have hunted every few days since the 10th waiting for them to think with the wrong head. Saw lots of bucks up to small 5 pts. but hadn't got a bruiser in my scope (got a couple out of bed) til Sat. This one was 20 1/4".
