7 month internet fly fishing sabbatical, real busy at work this year, and looks the same for next year. Otherwise everything OK.

Actually the guys darned nice to sit and talk to. No kidding, he's even built benches over the 'pool' so you can sit/watch the fish.

Years ago this particular 'spot' was called "dynamite hole' (or close to that) as the loggers would chuck sticks of TNT into the water to 'catch dinner.' Someone else stood down stream with a net ......

I used to see that up in Michigan during the salmon run in the 80s, one time I was fly fishing a pool in September, when a local yokal comes by and says might want to move out once dark hits, as we will be dynamiting the pool, I said yes sir and moved on of course.
