My little lab pup is fetching the dummy pretty dog gone well....need to get some wings to get him birdy...he's been going nuts over the local pheasant cock that visits the back patio where his kennel is located.....can't wait until he's doing some water retrieving....today he marked and then hit the water...albeit, 6 feet from shore but couldn't find the twig...bad me I guess...he kept sniffing for that smell but the wood didn't have it...need some asap.

I've been getting lots of ducks, but you can find some a lot closer to you, I'm sure. I even got a European Widgeon drake in a limit this morning. Not too common in these parts. Sounds like the pup is progressing fine. Bill
