Anyone in the know? Know it's early but heard there might be fish in the system. Will be there regardless Weds to Sat this week. Just looking for good news...

Pinch, there should be lots of fish in the system, problem is , the rivers over there are high & brown. If they dont get anymore rain, it ought to fish friday. I heard they had some slides up the river that are causing a mess. There are other rivers north & south of the Wilson that might be fishing if the Wilson is still brown.Best of luck & let me know how you did, I plan on being over there next week.

Ya, I heard most everything has been blown. Was hoping with the non precip that it might come back into shape. If it's not I was thinking the Trask.

Sounds like the North Fork of the Nehalem is fishing well & might be a good bet for mid-week. It will probabley be crowded this weekend though.

saw the wilson on thursday the 24 it looked semi-clear to me going to hit it by the guide shop or whats left of the guide shop on tues will report anything if i do get one i did do good on saturday on the lower gnat creek just outside of knappa,OR caught a nice one there spent 1 hr before i got it.
