Coho Bolo Spinners
      #319532 - 02/02/08 09:07 PM

I have a trip planned for the Petersburg area in early September and I'm looking to get a supply of Coho Bolos...but its impossible to find them where I live in Washington and I'm being equally frustrated online. Can anyone suggest a source for these lures. I don't care where the source is located. I Would appreciate the help...Thanks.

Gotta friend in Alaska that can buy them for you? That was the route I had to take. Or wait and buy them when you get up there.

HEY!
I myself have a great apreciation for the Bolo blade/lures.
I have, Like you, been trying to find them online with no success.

I just moved to Sitka, AK and just today found they have a West Marine store here.
Today, I went in to get a somthing else, looking around, and found they have what your looking for.
I checked out WestMarine's web site after seen your post, as well as www.luhrjensen.com. Nothing came up. Not even a phone number for Luhur Jensen in Hood River. And I'm from Portland, Oregon.
Go to a WestMarine store and see if that store carries what your looking for. If your local store can't help you, I will personally go down to the store here and get you the part numbers off the rack you need.
No Bull [**whoops**]! I have seen the product. Luhur Jensen sells them.
Also, If you know of any store that is still selling Bolo trout spinners, let me know. They are the best spinners to use in Washington and Oregon Costal Streams.I am out of them and want some replacements.

Best Regards,
Kent Quinton

I really appreciate everyone checking in with all of the information. Since it was noted that Sportsman's Warehouse in Anchorage carried them, I made it a point to stop in at the new store in Mount Vernon Washington (about 35 mi. from home). Low and behold they had a whole rack full of them. I think they are probably the only store in the lower 48 that carries them. Needless to say I've got my supply...heavy on the green with multicolored blade. As for Kentqusitka, they had a variety of other Bolo spinner styles as well. If you get their phone number off of the SW website, I'm sure you could phone in an order. The strange thing about the Coho Bolo spinner is that Luhr Jensen doesn't even acknowledge its existence on its website. Whats the secrecy all about? I'm really anxious to use them in Washington as well.
