I picked one up for my girlfriend. It's a nice piece for the money. A lot of similarities to the Glocks. I paid like $329.00 and went online and downloaded the form for the $50.00 rebate & 2 extra mags. She hasn't shot it yet, so no reports.

I tried one out. The term that came to mind was "Glock & Wesson". This isn't a bad thing. Standard S&W grip angle, different than the Glock. Similar striker firing mechanics, stainless mags.
Good gun for the price.

I've got a S&W 469 9mm and am also not impressed with the trigger. (Especially after shooting Chinook's .45 Kimber.) However, Chinook told me that a competent gunsmith would be able to tune that up, Just haven't got around to trying that avenue yet.

This gun has both double (on first shot) and single action on following shots. No spur on the hammer for a "cock and lock". Both actions feel like there is gravel in the works, and the double action is a very hard pull. I realize that some of the hard pull is due to having to over come the spring pressure to lift the hammer, but even in single action it is 'rough' Compared to Chinook's Kimber, this thing is a club....That being said, it is a pre ban, 12+1, and is very accurate, if you can ignore the trigger.

All my Smiths had great triggers (4006, 1509, 29, 686), so that's news to me. Sorry. I almost always replace my rifle triggers. Makes a big difference.

Ok, makes sense Nav, that's a requirement in my mind, no reason not to have that ability on a weapon. If I ever have to defend my home or family I want that option . I guess that's why I went with the Ruger P94DC .40 S&W.
