Trailer brake contollers
      #322328 - 02/23/08 08:00 AM

I'm gonna have to get one, need some input. Are there ones to stay away from, is there some to look for? The truck had one on it but it basically fell apart on its own and I had to cut it out. So I want a decent one. I would towing my Mom and Dads 20' camp trailer and maybe a future big boat.

What do you guys have?

I have the built in Ford Superduty model now, but I think the model I had was Tekonsha on my Expedition. RV.Net would be a good place to find more info.

I just recently had a Tekonsha installed on my 2002 Ford F150 and so far have no complaints. My truck came with a pigtail that plugs inunder the dash and you just connect the wires to the controller.

I have only had it for a couple of month's so the verdict is still out but so far no issues.

I think it cost like 60 bucks.
