For those of you looking for a nearby spot, the pond next to Merrill Park, in Eagle was stocked on Friday .
Fished it today with no luck but I swear I saw them stock it. Fished with 1/4" of nightcrawler on a hook with a bobber roughly 12" up (my son's setup) as well as with a couple of jigs along the bottom but no bites. Anyone have some local tricks they can share?

Try fishing with a small 1/4 oz egg weight and then tie on a barrel swivel. Then tie on a 18 inch leader to the other end of the barrel swivel and tie on your hook, add a small powerbait marshmellow and a small piece of worm and you should be in business!

Thanks! I'll give that a try next time.
Also I heard that pond is deceptively deep - I was likely fishing way too shallow.
