I was at my local lake on sunday and got one smallie. My friend in his boat had 2. I found water that was 50 degrees. all fish came on lipless cranks.

Were you burning them pretty quick? Always wondered about that in early season - mostly a reaction hit, but b/c it's still cold I wonder about speed... thoughts?
Cool website TH, be looking for something like that over here.

Yeah. pretty quick. As soon as I feel it hit grass or hit wood, I jerk the shiat out of it and let it flutter back down. Then I start retrieving it again. It seems like in my local lakes, especialy fishing smallies,I cant buy a bite finessing them this time of year(dropshot, senko, soft plastics) but as soon as I throw a rattletrap or crankbait, its on! I just got a report from a friend who is out at the lake and he got a 4 and a half s.m. and lost about a 3 and a half. I need to be out there instead of here at work! Shaun.

I've got some new swim baits in Trout, Kokanee and Baby Bass. I know the Bass eat them but I can't wait to throw them at Tiger Muskies. 3 Rivers Marine will have some in stock really soon. KGM Custom Plastics, all hand pours.
