Years ago I used to fish Lake Goodwin almost exclusively because I had shared access to the lake. I caught many beautiful trout including some huge rainbows. I recall one youngster who caught a 9lb 2 ounce bow and made the local papers. But my favorite fish was the kokanee that I would get into from time to time.I haven't fished Goodwin for many years but intend to go back soon, but I never hear kokanee mentioned in conjunction with that lake. Rainbow trout, bass, perch and sunfish get their fair amount of press but never a mention of my favorite that I have seen.
Does anyone know if there is a kokanee population still in the lake? I'd love to know.
Thanks in advance.
