After examination of the trout we have been catching out of a particular lake, the majority had no eggs or milt sacks of any kind. I assumed they were trips but I just go an e mail back from the WDFW on a request for lakes stocked with them and they didn't mention it. Most trout in the other lakes are showing signs of spawning. What's up with that ?

Youre eating spawnouts..... just kidding. Maybe they were planted previously or got mixed in by a friendly hatchery worker.

My fishing buddy CurtisB got one of the most beautiful rainbows I have ever seen on a fly this weekend. We had been fishing for all of 30 seconds when it hit. Probably 4 - 5 pound buck in full spawning colors. What a beauty! I hope to have a picture soon. I'll e-mail it to you, Marty, as I am a total hack when it comes posting pictures. we were fishing the Lower Hampton. GutZ
