If transportation is an issue: Across from 'All sports Park.' There's another 'pocket park' across the river that you can drive to or walk the bridge over the river. Beautiful water.

Next Pierce Riffle and up stream. Really no access at this point at Savage Rapids Dam (up stream/across the river from Pierce) but it's a pretty easy hike with gear.

Lots of guide boats pulling out at Rogue River yesterday so that may be a 'hint-hint.' Too bad I didn't get to 'join in the fun,' had soccer games to help officiate.

Water flows are VERY low for this time of the year so once you have river access wading a loooooong way (water coverage) is a bit o' cake. Only thing to be careful about is the river bottom from Rogue River down to Evans creek is a bit of OHHHHHH BOY! Not a flow issue, but a slippery bottom you've got to walk on to believe!

Bring a wading staff or 'stream cleats!'
