Guys, anyone interested in catching a limit of hatchery cutts up to 12 or 14 inches can do some good on the Cowlitz right now. We've caught some beauties while prospecting for summer steel the past two weekends, right Don? These agressive little buggers have been tearing up our spoons and drift gear...I took my flyrod out yesterday, with the intentions of having some fun, but couldn't bring myself to fish for trout when there might be a steelhead around. They seem to be laying in all the normal steelhead drifts, so just downsize your gear and go have fun!
GregPS...If you hook a summerrun on your trout rod are you gonna have fun...
