Road kill for dinner new
      #322428 - 02/24/08 02:26 PM

Wasn't sure whether to post this under recipes or what...figured I'd hit more hunters here...

Was out in the Detroit area this week on business. Had dinner at a restaurant that served various game meat dishes and even a few touting their road kill content. Shared a sampler appetizer plate (venison sausage, rabbit ravioli, duck tenders, whitefish pate and BBQ buffalo (meat)balls), and polished off the sampler road kill platter on my own...roast venison, broiled quail and wild boar sausage. Really good food and service (nice looking waitstaff too boot) and for about the same cost as a meal at the Outback (less the crappy service).

If you're ever out that way..look the place up. Moose Preserve Bar and Grill. Well worth the stop.
