My buddy just got a new Golden Retriever, and this dog is the most chill puppy I've ever met. He doesn't leave your side and is smart as can be.

His name is Oso Oro (translation is Golden Bear) but just Oso for short.

I owned a Golden for 13 years. He was extremly smart and would follow me through the gates of hell without ever looking back. They are a fantastic breed and very loyal. I was told if you want a comedian get a Golden Retriever and if you want an accountant get a Lab. After owning both I would say this a very correct way of putting it.

If you want the smartest dog on the planet, get a golden and black lab cross.

I do love goldens. Just don't like all that long fur.
