A friend and I went shed hunting a couple days ago, we were a bit early, the elk have not dropped their horns yet. No sheds, but the weather was great, we got in a good hike and seen hundreds of elk. We had one bull let me get within 15 feet and take numerous pictures. We plan on going back in a few weeks. Here are some of the pics.

Neat pictures. That first bull needs a couple bales of hay. He could use a little meat on the ribs. I bet he's happy the winter diet is almost over.

Yeah that bull was very skinny, all he'd have to do is wander downhill maybe a mile and he'd be out of the snow.

The kids at Jackson Hole have it made... I think it is the Boy Scouts that are "authorized" to pick 'em up, bundle them and sell 'em, and the proceeds go to them for their use!
