Ihave been informed that I will be in the Detroit area in mid October. Wondering what if any fishing prospects exist then. Would take 8yo grand daughter if it sounds age appropriate.

Should be prime time for Great Lakes Chinooks and big Brown Trout hitting the tribs. Lots of fish off the mouths of the rivers if you do a charter trip. Also from my experience in the Buffalo area, it can be awesome for BIG Smallies and good Walleye fishing.

It will hve to be a charter trip on Lake Erie most likely. Been looking at guide web sites.. hate choosing them blind. Kid lives south side of Detroit.
