At the end of a two month Motor Home stay here at Bridgeview RV Resort (across river from the town of Rogue River) and have 1,000 yards of out standing fly fishing water 20 yards out my front door.
Any way, the park owner asked if they could put a picture of me casting on their web site? 'Sure, why not.'
Picture #3, and 'name that cast.'

Anyone tell me how to make that an Avatar?

Fred, I'd call that a snake roll, C-Cast, or corkscrew.
To make the picture an avatar, I'd size it down to 45 pixels wide (I use irfanview), then upload it to the site. Once done, copy the address of the picture, and paste them (minus the ) into the avatar address block in your profile.

Mojo's on the mark, a Circle cast it is. Part that's always had me scratching my head is what casts 'work best' for me depending upon river left or river right.
In the BV-RV photo, obviously river left. There the Circle, snap t, single spey work well. Another that comes to mind is the single spiral.
River right all the above are 'clunky' at best. There the double spey, snake roll, etc.
Go figure?
Don't know how many of you folks have 'seen' the middle Rogue or the Chetco (Brookings, Or) but here's a collection (mine) of both rivers: http://picasaweb.google.com/fredaevans

Before the river really went 'up' did quite well. Water flow finally got to the point (6,000'ish cfs) that fly fishing, save for a couple of places (just below the RR bridge and Madson Park) was a dead issue for close to three weeks.
Watched a lot of DVD's though ......
