After two soccer games this morning (Both kids's teams won), yard work and other crap around the house, I took the kids over to Grandpas place to do a little shootin. I was itchin to try out my new .22 pistol.
My daughter decided to ride horse with grandpa  Oh well.
So, my son and I set up the Ronco Shootin Bench aka card table and proceeded to throw some lead.
Austin wanted to start off shootin his 10/22 and test out if he could best the old mans skills. Kids.....

My son was impressed. But not to be outdone, he wants to set up the 10/22 at 50 yards. I say OK, but I'll raise the stakes. I put an empty can of cope and say I'll give him a buck for every time he hits it. Deal is, he can take 10 shots at the can and 10 at the target.
As you can see, fine shootin and cost me $3.00

Sweet Hog! Looks like some fine weather for shooting.
Pez and I made a quick stop on the way to the lake today, and shot our turkey guns with the new turkey chokes and full up turkey loads (3 inch mag #5s - 2 oz loads). I've shot thousands if not hundreds of thousands of shotgun shells, 10 years of competitive trap and 30 years of waterfowling, and these buggers kicked harder than anything I ever shot before. Just glad I only have to shoot one more time this year...

 That's funny Moj. Sounds like as much fun as sighting in a .338 WITHOUT a muzzle break.
Anyone notice my son shooting right handed with the 10/22 and left handed with the pistol? He's about as screwd up as I am

Perfectly screwed up. Yep, gotta love something that pushes you back a bit when you squeeze the trigger. Why else would you shoot...
I better have another beer to ease the pain... O.k. it's just an excuse.
