Finally made it out today for halibut . My Brother, elwoodp, and Pug, launched at John Wayne and fished the banks around there. We managed 1 at 25#. I let my Bro have the honors, and he was gracious enough to split it 4 ways, so we all got some. Whole herring bounced on the bottom.  Bit rough and windy/cold, but fun none the less. Will be hittin' it again a couple of times beore I head north to where halibut are a nusience.

I'm working on that got a buddy up there right now commercial fishing, gave him #'s for pineapple, couple sets and problem solved
