Browning X-Bolt new
      #330692 - 04/28/08 06:26 AM

Saw the new Browning X-Bolt write up in the American rifleman, so stopped by Welcher's Gunshop the other day to have a looksee.
I was especially looking at the tang safety, with the bolt release button, to unload while on safe.
My old Ruger has the tang safety, but the new ones don't.
Put my name on the list for a stainless/composite in .300 Win Mag.
Anybody else look at these guns?
What d'ya think????

I have not put my hands on it yet, but next visit to the Gun Room and it's on my list of musts.

We got one in the store a couple of weeks ago. It looks like a nice rifle, and I like the new features, but then again I've alway's been a Browning fan. I've got 5 of the A-Bolts and I see a new X bolt coming home someday too.
