Looks like your all set!
This year is the first year ever that I am going to fish for trout on the opener instead of bass. Me and my girlfriend are going to go stay at my cabin on Summit lake tonight and tomorrow night and fish all weekend. Of course I am bringing all my bass gear, but primarly we will be trout fishing.

Shaun.

Shaun,

Summit lake is great fun trolling flies in the shallows. Nice fish really stack up in there to the left.

Yeah castinpearls, That lake has a special place in my heart, made my first cast there, lost my first lure there, hooked my first fish there, lost my first fish there, caught my first fish there. Alot of other firsts there that I wont mention on the board! Some of my earliest fishing memories are of my dad and grandpa catching HUGE kokes out of that lake.Ok sorry for the trip down memory lane, im finished !!!
Just got back from there and got the boat all launched and docked to avoid the zoo in the morning!

I like flowing too. I've had better luck on the quality of fish out of Roesiger, but better luck on the quantity out of Flowing. Both are nice little lakes though and have some nice Largemouths...

Easy limits on stockers. Lots of bites and lots of fish for everyone! I mostly trolled but saw people doing good anchored down at the shallow end by the launch.
I didnt get anything with any size, biggest was 13" I think, but it was a good and relaxing weekend.
Ill probally be back down there this weekend.
Shaun.

Good deal. I am planning on draggin' flies in the shallows this weekend. Are you gonna be in your big boat or do you have a little one for the lakes?

I'll be in my sled so I can take the whole family, say Hi if you see me.

Hey Shaun,

I went out for a couple hours Sat afternoon. We didn't get anything worth mentioning draggin flies around.

But it was a good time with the family. It was the 1st time my 3 year old daughter and 7 year old little brother in law got to go out in the boat. They did great....

Can't say as much for the 20 month old daughter though. She made it about 10 minutes before trying to jump overboard. Then she proceeded into a classic Mia-meltdown and finished off with kicking and screaming on the floor of the boat. Momma and her had to go watch DVD's in the Tahoe for a while so we could fish.

I have got my hands full with her for sure.

Hope you had better luck in the fishing dept.

I was wondering if you made it out there. I was on Drano Friday and after the long drive home, I decided to be lazy all day Sunday. With the weather the way it was, I wish I would have went down there.
Sounds like you had a good time with the family! All except the whole jumping overboard deal
If I cant find anyone to go Sturgeon fishing with me on Saturday, I think im gonna heaad down there to try and find some kokanee.

Shaun.

I saw a couple nice trout that were caught at the boat launch from the bank. Other than that, only small ones from the trollers from what I could see.

If I wasn't heading down to Drano Saturday, I would be up for some sturgeon fishing. I have a weekend pass while the girls are outta town.

Where do you like to fish sturgeon?
