Nothing is inked in stone, but a little bird told me that I may once again get to head up to AK. Same deal, golf in Wrangell on August 1st and 2nd, then over to Craig for a few days. Not sure if I can work out any side trips this time, but at least I'll pack lighter this time now that I know what I don't need.
Wish me luck, as I am low man on the totem pole.

Thankfully we don't have that barrel problem like you do in the National Guard or the timber industry.

It's official. I'm Alaska bound!
Wrangel on August 1 & 2, then three days in Craig, and a few days on Wadley near Klawock. Doesn't look like I'll have much time to spend in Ketchikan, as I'll probably just drop in from the island and hit my flight.
Best news of all, no turns in the barrel! Now I just have to figure out how to get a rifle up there for deer season. Maybe I'll just borrow one. Man those Sitka deer are good.

The kings will be gone when I'm there, but there will still be plenty of lings, silvers, butts, pinks, yellow eye, and crab.

Kings gone by early August  , I hope not, this ain't Ketchikan 
8 for 10 on kings last August 17th. You just can't keep them under 48"

Well, they were pretty much gone for us last year that time. I got one.
I'll keep a lookout for you guys in your WF boats. I'll be on "It's Deductable", and a 19' trophy.
