Three things to remember...
1) tie down everything you bring. I've seen a tent full of sleeping bags and air mattresses blowing across the lake. I once saw a full cooler blow over as well.
2) chironomids. If you don't have 27,000 of these little bastards in your fly box, you are hosed. Learning to fish them is BORING, but very productive. Especially there.
3) bring lots of beer. If the wind kicks up, you'll need it. It's a long way to the nearest bar or store.
It can be great fishing, but has been a bit off the last few years. It is typically a float tube fishery, but if the wind catches you, you'll get a workout getting back to your launch. You can do well wading the shallows at certain times of the year. I'd have some damsel nymphs and 14,16, and 18 callibaetis nymphs and dries too.

Spring is the time. It weeds up and gets warm early, so the sooner after ice off the better in most cases. March and April can be good, by the end of May it can start dropping off due to weeds and warm water.

Heard it was over run with goldfish that some idiot planted illegally to feed the trout. Let me know how you guys do. Thanks.
