I recently came into the owner ship of a 85c Lami.. its is very usable .. but was wondering if there is a way to restore it back to top condition... I would like to have new guides and a new handle put on it if possiable and then is it worth it..... I will be retired to the wall of fame after the summer...
thanks any advice is welcome

when i get a guide replaced it costs me about $10. dont know how much a handle is but your probably better off breaking it and gettin a new one.

Really its a labor issue just to strip it down and have it ready for new parts would take several hours. Removing the handle can be the biggest problem. You could expect to pay as much for a new rod as you would for a rebuild. You could remove the parts your self and then have a builder wrap it for you.

SK the Email Add'y bounced back. Just like Rainshadow said the labor is the killer on most rebuilds if the handle needs replacing. PM. sent WFFF

If your not in a hurry to get it back, some of us cut the labor price a bit, if we can do work on it as a fill in when we aren't so busy.
