ron, you're describing a finesse rig. standard gear is a 10/0 treble with the shank fully wrapped with pencil lead. match the hatch...

It may be a crappy looking boat, but It's mine!

It's my "courtesy boat" for all Steelheader.net members to fish in the cove when you come to Ketchikan. That crappy looking boat may save you $250.00 a day plus the fuel to motor 25 miles to the cove from the rental dock one way...

It's doesn't look like much, but It catches fish and the price is right! It's the perfect beach boat for the cove.

I love that boat! Thanks again Scott for lending it to us for the week. We gave her a bath with water and a scrub brush every day when we were done fishing so as to have it ready for you in the evenings...must have been a busy week huh?

The boat has mojo and people come from all the way up from the canal to fish next to her.

Once again thanks.

My "crappy looking boat" reference was made in reverence for a tried and true bobber flogging machine.

well great news we have another "crappy boat" on the cove!

an old 14' duraboat picked up for 200.00 at a yard sale this weekend! not as crappy as the Guppy is. aka the crappy boat, now renamed by our last visitors. Ths SS Guppy it shall be.
This new aluminium floater is a 14' Duraboat in blue. It does not leak as we are told. That will be tested...
since I do not seem to have any luck (skill more like it to post the pic's of the newest member of the Herring cove Maritime fleet of vessels, maybe Grizz can post the new aquisition to this post.

Kudos to Gooose for the Crappy boat line. seriously, the boat looks better in the pics than on the beach...we need pics of it now the 5200 has been applied to all the bottom rivets. I think another tube of 5200 and a pop rivet tool gun will be the next project for it.
