I have 4 or 5 oars around the shop that you could have. Some are 10' but I'm sure you could whack them shorter.
Come gettum.

Warren, doesn't look like Jake will be getting many clients for guided trips in your driveway...the big boat needs to get wet. How's the engine replacement coming along?

Speaking of transom work - I need to replace the plywood on my fiberglass db's transom. What do I use and where do I get it(Seattle area - Eastside preferably)? I was thinking of a piece of 3/4 forming ply, but I don't want a whole sheet when I only need a small section. I have a friend who owns a millwork place, but they use all kinds of exotic hardwoods (no teak though) that would either not be suited to the temp and moisture gradients, or just plain too 'spensive. Where to find marine ply in small quantities around here?

any local boat builders where you might be able to purchase a suitably sized scrap piece?
