I got the 11a extra doe but got the shaft on the 11a buck tag. Hey Jake, you looked closely at the new regs? They have left some good areas open a little later. There will be some big bucks killed this year. I will be hunting the rut for whities. LIL

Thanks for the alert. I had been looking at the site all week, ten times a day. By Friday afternoon I figured "no sense looking till Monday". Anyway after 28 years, since my last Waha elk draw, it's finally my turn again. Needless to say, I hit the hard stuff in celabration last night. I'm grouped up with a couple buddies that have never shot big bulls, should be a gas.

Thanks Mojo. One of the boys was in Boise this weekend for a wedding, when I called him to let him know that we had hit the lottery he was giggling like a girl. He's been spending 12.50 a year (we always put in for the mule deer hunt too) on these ponies for a long time. I was lucky last time I had this tag (1980) and got a nice 7 pt., but alot of things have changed in Waha since then........,probably for the better, for trophy hunting. We expect lots of sweat, snakes, cactus, heavy breathing, aches and pain before this is over on Nov. 3rd. To be continued.............
