Before this goes to far. There are no secrets, we have openly said that the first battle is selective fishery on the lower columbia, the details behind that are up to Mr. Heikala and a few others and that is the way it needs to be...you don't shout lawsuit details from the mountain tops. There are lots of thoughts and ideas that chapters are working on to bring before the board but thats the extent. So the folks who attend the local meetings have a glimpse of what may happen locally but not much more. There are some plans for barbecues with local politicians but thats just relationship building and learning done by all hopefully. We are out to change laws and that is a slow process. I know that most of us are used to fin clipping, habitat improving and other such activities...those activiites are still needed and going on in other groups...not so much with CCA. Ours is a much slower process and the ability to look down this road can and does try some patience but you should be able to look down the road and see where its going. Its just that most of us are not privy to the details and that includes me, a proud Washington State board member.
