Elk area identified
      #342896 - 08/11/08 12:08 PM

My hunting friends are looking for Elk in all the wrong places. These pictures are from the Harris Ranch Sub Division which I think is in Oregon. Bonsi tastes like grass?

There is a Harris Ranch subdivision just east of Boise, and there is at least one big bull that has been living in the cow pasture across the street since last winter. Might be the same place. Could be another Harris Ranch as well?

Nuce bulls no doubt...

Build more houses in elk range areas and that's what you get. Great planning!

Jake, I've seen the big guy across the street in the pasture. I know there are some big elk that hang in the hills just above there, but with all that green grass beconing...

That subdivision did eat up about 5miles by 3 miles of prime winter deer and elk habitat. I've seen some monsters right off the road there in the old days.

Hmmmm... that tree is kind of small, but I'll bet I could set a tree stand in there for bowhunting, just in case....
