I have used Kcrocodiles and those cheap humpy specials. The only one that produced any kind of salmon hook ups for me was the krocs and all a caught was humpys with it. The other one which surprised me last year was I was fishing a humpy special doctered up with my secret paint set up and. And was expecting just a humpy or two on light tackle and end up hooking into a freight train of a king only to almost get spooled. If Only my flimsy bass rod and 10 pound line could handle lol Couldnt change his direction for the life of me fried the drag a bit on that reel. taught me a little lesson never say I aww they dont like this color this a humpy color:p you never know. Whats everyones choice of coho and salmon spoon in the rivers needing a little help in targeting??

Lots of different spoons for different conditions but flatlining FST spoons work awesome for silvers. They only work in a little slower currents as they are fairly light.

There is only one that I use and thats Rvrwaggler Spoons!! I caught three springers this year on them while everyone else was throwing out big blue fox's. Needless to say I was taking more fish home than most. Those three fish came on three different days so I was happy about that. Another thing to remember is keep the scent to a minimun! Good luck

For ho's in the salt, these spoons were my top producers at CQ - the yellow/green one was the best. Also caught alot of kings on em.
These flashers were tops when pulling herring at CQ, and again, the yellow/green one was the top producer.

I go old school with my go-to spoon. A cheap "Steelie" does the trick for me on the larger rivers.

On Lake Michigan, Pro Kings with glow ladderbacks, or Pearl Yek Zippers with flat black backs are GO-TO spooons.

Fatcat, nice fish and welcome to the board.
Nick, Do I really want to know what a ManBearPig is? Probably not, huh? Sounds scary.

Rvrfshr or other BC Steel style. 50/50 or gold finish in water with good color. Brass or copper as the water clears.
I'll save the Dick Nites for when the water is really clear, although I've found that a small spin n glow with a metallic finish will work equally well if fished the same way. The spin n glow setup is cheaper with better hooks.
