I landed one nate... Lost another steelie... Alot of salmon and steelhead rolling... Yea I said Steelhead.. I never seen a steelhead porpuise til today.

I've seen that up on the Umatilla in September, just a bit upstream of where it empties into the CR.

What section were you fishing ? Where the salmon bright fall fish or darker springers ?? I'm goin lookin for bright nooks next weekend.

I guess fred... I was just out to get some fresh air...
Haha... Some of the fish were bright and some where dark.. But all the salmon I have seen jumping have been atleast 20-25 pounds... Its not like we have few fish that are small... Hopefully the fish come in as strong as they did 4 yrs ago.

Hummmm, with gas prices below $4/gallon (Costco was $3,88.9 a couple of days ago) it sounds like it's time to 'bite the bullet' and get my ass out of Ashland.
