Tony lets keep our fingers crossed  Based on the lack of Fall Nookie spawners I saw on the gravel last year a few years from now we might be singing a different tune down here.
I am sure the lack of commercial ocean fishing this spring and summer has helped!

Nuts, the link no longer works but the local paper had a big article (last Thursday? on the item of the 'half pounder' run in the lower river. Oregon Fish and Game was doing a full court press netting to get an idea of the fish runs.
Based on what they got, the prediction was HUGE NUMBERS.
