It was good to see you out there MM. Got a bunch of shakers and a 19" king. Very little fishing pressure out there now.

No pressure because it sucks out there. Worst summer hands down for the Tiderunner crew. Our o fer trips was way more than 10 maybe 15 trips and not one takedown. Granted we only got to fish like two morning tide changes. We mostly fished evenings changes which on the best few nites we saw 1 net fly two tops. On a normal year on an evening change we would see 10 maybe 15 nets fly.
OK I'm done with that...now on to something fishy!!!!

True Steve, i've have yet to hit the early AM tide change...hoping the silver run will be better for us...keeping our fingers crossed at least! On a side note, how many folk fish the "black box"...just curious?

No black box for us. DR took voltage readings...I'm no sparky but I know when he kept muttering "repulsive Voltage" over and over that it couldn't be good.

No black box for me. I removed the cable and went to braid. I don't have the Humm from the cable any more either.

Box or no box you should still check all of the bonding (grounding) of the electrical components in your boat. A short from a perko switch or other component can send that "repulsive voltage" out and you will be blowing off the fish and not know it. I do the box, positive voltage is a good thing when controlled right!!!

The kings have been very slow. They are there, but few and far between. We have had better luck up around dolphin point and around southworth ferry terminal.

There's a ton of coho in MA13... Out in front of Minter, Raft Island, Vaughn Bay, Squaxin...
Surprising we are still nailing bright Kings south of Solo down deep in 150'plus.
Strange year eh?
