Our First Pheasant Together new

After running my 11mo old dog Angel the past two weekends in a Womans Hunt & a Youth Hunt where I got to watch others shoot.

We went out this first thing AM for the Genral Public opener. After four hours out and on a b-line for the car. We crossed the path of three other hunters who were 200yrds to our right now. The dog & I both pick up the green & white of a bird running about 10ft in front of us. The dog goes after the bird & got him in the air. A couple shots later our first bird together is on the ground. Shes on the winged bird keeping it pinned down. She was pumped up and I think she started to put it all together.
