Should be finding out this week or next if I get to manage two great duck properties in the Chehalis Valley, the club would have three properties to hunt. What I will be looking for is 3 groups of 4 hunters. The charge will be $200 each for dues and $50 per gun per day.
Anyone interested let me know and if it materializes we will put this in motion.

Typically when there are just a moderate amount of birds around it would be like every Tuesday and Saturday, to give the birds a place to rest and feel comfortable. More birds then more days. I chose three groups because there are three properties that way each group could hunt at least twice a week.

Is that $200 per group annual dues?

I might be up for that. I'm retired so I have plenty of time. I kind of quit duck hunting 3-4 years ago cause I got tired of driving to Ridgefield, Potholes, Burbank etc and it wasnt that good. Send my a PM if you get it going.
Thanks.

Well that took longer than it should have!
I have one property that I am for sure managing for the Chehalis Tribe possible two more this year but we will see. I certainly hope many more next year.
The only charge at this point is the $50/ gun / per day. Minimum of two. We will only hunt this water on Saturdays unless a whole mess of ducks show up. It is completely behind locked gates so your hunt is definitely private and undisturbed all week.
Jump the birds, don't shoot, set your dekes and wait for them to come back in!!
There are no blinds but it has trees and brush to hide easily thats the reason for the cheaper price....and that price is a Steelheader.net price.
I am booking this on a first come first seve basis and again Saturdays only.
Let me know.

That's a darn good price for hunting that area of the Halis valley. Wish I lived closer and had the time. John if you don't already have one pick up a pintail/widgeon call and learn to use it. I found it more valuable than a mallard call for hunting up country boids. Just as long as it's any brand other than Olt.

Yup boid, that pintail whistle will make lots of birds turn, and for folks that can't "blow" a standard duck call....priceless. I could be talked into playing (have dekes and 3 labs) after late season archery elk. I know a little bit about duck hunting
