Went to chopaka lake for the trout opener.It was reallllly windy but manage to do a little fishing.Between beers I managed to do some fishing caught alot of 8" rainbows *bleh* thats not why I go to chopka lake if anyone is intrested in going there this year there is some sort of problem with this lake this year.I only caught 1 fish over 16" and I have been there every year for 10 years and never caught a fish under 14" I recommend trying another lake for a few years until the planter grow a little. Does anyone know what happened to the lake and why they planted it this year?
