Robo ducks

The state has outlawed them. I'm surprised at their decision. It's not like your feeding them in.

Years ago we put together a flapper field goose decoy. We ran a cable to it and used a motor cycle battery in the blind to start and stop it. It was fun and worked sometimes. I ended up not wanting to use it because I didn't want anything out of the ordinary in my spread. I think geese are smarter than ducks when it comes to looking for an ambush.

I knew they were talking about it. I have hunted with them although I don't owne one and they don't seam to make much of a difference to me . I think a good caller is much more effective.

Those robo-ducks didn't impress me that much anyway. I have had that decoy heart bring them on in, especially on those foggy, still mornings with no breeze. They hear you call, and when they look down and see that little bit of riffle on the pond, it's TAKE 'EM!
