Mark said the same thing but some of these have over 100 hours of work and that would make them price less in my eyes! We have ten of Marks rods here in our display. Each one is designed with a Theme and are one of a kind. A few more picks of recent ones we have here.

Is that all done by hand?........and where can someone go to learn the basics, would be fun to try and customize some of my rods in a very basic way.

These are done by hand with some tools of course. Special Weaving Loom for the fish weaves, Lathe to turn wood and cork inlays etc. Mark is one of if not the finest rod builder in the industry. There is loads of info on available on line and DVD as well as web site like www.Rodbuilding.org . We hold an annual rod building get together at the Lamiglass plant in April every year and some of the top builders in the States are there like Docski, Emory,Putter and many more. We have some fantastic builders on this site from time to time as well.

Karry I will be at the annual rod bilding get togather this as I'm not coaching softball this year.
I was hoping it would keep happing with the pesonal changes
