Proposal To Make Duckabush Wetlands No Hunting new
      #34978 - 11/02/02 05:50 PM

If anyone hunts the tideflats on the Duckabush be aware that some locals have petitioned the county to make that area a No Shooting Zone.....meetings November 7th. E-mail me at Gooose@tscnet.com if you're interested. [Mad]

I do not hunt that area, but we are finding more and more of this happening. The land that we have been hunting for many years is slowly being taken away from us. This is the reason I joined Ducks Unlimited. They preserve habitat for wildlife and for hunters. I think it is imparitive that people join these type of clubs that do good things for the animals and the hunters. There are a lot of them out there.

I agree 100% with you bux. These organizations are doing all they can to insure our hunting future. I hope more folks come to see it the same way.

Well we won the duck hunting issue. Actually wasn't too bad a meeting.

Yeah he drives a red explorer. He is retired and hunts up there almost every week. I have a question is there anywhere else to duck hunt on the canal or is the duckabush it. [Confused]
