After much pondering, I decided on a Banks Ram Air kit to mount on my Dodge.
Here's a pic of the box and planning on getting it mounted on my truck after work.

I HIGHLY doubt it will add 39HP. It states: "Gains up to 39HP" which I'm guessing to be under specific circumstances.
I hear it will add throttle response, additional MPG's and you can hear the turbo sing.
I'll post some pics later

Took about 30 minutes to get it installed. On the quick road test, I did notice better throttle response and maybe some additional HP. Jury is still out on additional MPG's. I'll run a couple tanks and see what gives.

Dry filter. Going rate is $399 plus a little for the govenor
So far my MPG seems tobe a little better according to my tucks puter. Still going to test it the old fashioned way.

Let us know how it works for u. I put a K&L on my '04 & an Edge chip. I can get 20-22 mpg with 3 or 4 horses in my trailer IF I keep it at 60- 65 mph. It never got that kind of mileage until it got over 50k miles on it. Have heard the same from other Dodge owners. I have an '07 that gets about 15 unless I'm towing, then it gets 9 or 10 mpg

which Edge chip did you get SFCowboy? I have a 2004.5 3500 dually and get 19-20 mpg when not towing.
Right now I have an aFe filter with the air ram and a Banks muffler.

FT, cant remember which module that was put in that truck. A buddy of mine deals & installs that stuff. I do know, that you have to take the box open to change the settings. The one in my '07, you just flip a toggle switch. After reading your post, it dawned on me that you said "04.5". I have a 305hp in my 04 & I think that you have a 325hp in your 04.5.
